What to do with unhappy sales teams (if leads are good)
The Aussie Hermit has been running a highly successful sales team for a coaching business for almost 12 months now.
And during this time…
We’ve never had a "bad" month.
Some months were lower than others, but they were still pretty good.
We’ve also had amazing months.
However…
Every single month - even during record-breaking periods - I get complaints from our sales team about lead quality.
So what can you do in this instance?
How do you keep your sales team motivated and make sure they stay on your team?
I reveal what to do in episode #321 of The 15 Minute Client podcast.

Top line vs bottom line coaching
The Aussie Hermit has a client who spends anywhere between 2k to 5k on advertising per day.
On days where he spends around 2k…
His average cost per lead is $20.
However, on days where we scale closer to 4.5-5k…
The cost per lead rises to $30.
At first, this made him nervous.
And it makes sense:
He was stuck in "bottom line" thinking.
But once I’d revealed the mentality shift to "top line" thinking…
He changed his mind - and understood why the $30 leads were actually much, much better for his coaching business.
I reveal this shift in episode #320 of The 15 Minute Client podcast.

How to sell coaching on an upsell page
The other day The Aussie Hermit’s friend came for help to improve conversions on a low-ticket funnel.
His $17 product on the front end was doing fine…
… and so was the $47 upsell.
The problem was with the second upsell.
You see, my friend was trying to sell his coaching services on this final upsell page.
Now…
Coaching in an upsell funnel is hard because you’re going from a $17 offer to 4 or even 5 figures.
On cold traffic.
It’s especially hard to sell when framed in the way he did, which I see all too many Coaches do.
So how should you frame your upsell page if you want to successfully sell coaching?
I reveal the correct frame to pull this off in episode #319 of The 15 Minute Client podcast.

Why Hormozi is wrong about improving show up rates
The other day The Aussie Hermit watched a YouTube replay of a presentation Alex Hormozi gave to some real estate agents.
One of the things he talked about was how to build a funnel to generate leads.
With that, of course…
He discussed the topic of increasing show-up rates.
However…
I didn’t quite agree with what he called the "number one way" to improve show-up rates.
The method he discussed does improve show up rates.
But in my experience…
It’s not the #1 way.
So what is this method Hormozi talked about, and what is the #1 way?
I reveal both methods in episode #318 of The 15 Minute Client podcast.

How to deal with bad attitude prospects
Recently one of our salespeople came to The Aussie Hermit with a concern regarding a prospect.
You see, this prospect had a 15-minute chat with one of her setters.
Our setter then proceeded to book her into a call with a salesperson.
However…
Through some technical snafu, she got booked through with a secondary email.
And as a result…
Our system didn’t recognize that she had booked her sales call.
Since we have a dialed-in sales process, she received several reminder emails to book a call.
Now…
This prospect was angry.
Which is why she sent a nasty email to my salesperson.
I reveal how to deal with prospects who have this type of attitude in episode #317 of The 15 Minute Client podcast.

An unintuitive way to reduce no shows (and improve lead quality)
Recently The Aussie Hermit launched a new ad campaign for himself.
One of the biggest blessings I’ve had in my business is the ability to write copy and run ads to clients relatively quickly.
Many copywriters only focus on copy…
So I want to teach other copywriters how to run ads for clients like I do.
With this in mind…
I launched a short VSL to generate appointments and see if people would be interested.
And so far, I’ve been getting some of the cheapest opt-ins I’ve had in years.
I’m even getting appointments for $60 a pop.
The problem?
The prospects aren’t showing up.
Now…
I’m already doing all the fundamental things I’ve already discussed to reduce no-shows:
Confirm appointments.
Sending reminder emails and texts.
Not letting prospects book too far out.
Yet these prospects aren’t showing up.
However…
I know exactly how I’m going to fix this issue.
I reveal my strategy in episode #316 of The 15 Minute Client podcast…

Marketing in 1 sentence
The Aussie Hermit goes to Bible Study every single week.
And here’s what I’ve come to notice:
When you become fully immersed in the faith, you become excited…
… but parts of scripture are very confronting.
You want to share that with your family.
Guide them on the right path.
But the problem is, if you take scripture to your family and aggressively push it down their throats..
It’s not going to work.
Funny thing is…
We do the same thing with our prospects.
Coaches know so much about our topic that we talk our prospects into oblivion.
We go too deep…
And it flies straight over their heads.
I’ve fallen into this trap before myself.
So what should you do instead?
It’s simple:
Create a message that resonates.
I reveal how to achieve this in episode #315 of The 15 Minute Client podcast…
… including the one sentence that sums it all up.

How tech issues increase conversions
The Aussie Hermit has a client who runs a weekly live webinar for her coaching business.
Now…
This webinar usually runs smoothly.
But every now and then…
She’ll run into tech issues.
The screen will glitch, the chat box disappears, her Internet goes out - you name it…
It is a live webinar, after all.
But here’s where it gets interesting.
This client told me this the other day:
"Every time something has gone wrong for me on a webinar…
My sales have gone up."
I reveal the reason why this happens in episode #314 of The 15 Minute Client podcast.

What I learned listening to 1000s of hours of success podcasts
Every single day The Aussie Hermit listens to 2-3 hours of podcasts.
I listen to these in between other activities, or while in the car…
And these are generally around the topics of finance, relationships, and overall “success.”
One of the things I’ve noticed after 1000s of hours of these podcasts is the following:
There’s no “secret” to success.
Most of these “secrets” always end up being something I’ve heard before.
And this is why the true key to success is “digging ditches.”
So what do I mean by that?
And how do you apply this to success in your coaching business?
I reveal everything in episode #313 of The 15 Minute Client podcast.

How to hire setters to scale a coaching program
Last week, The Aussie Hermit revealed our entire process for hiring high-performing salespeople.
This process has helped my business partner and me surpass 100k in sales within our first 3 months of operation…
… without closing a single client ourselves.
Now…
Part of our process relies on having setters in our sales team.
A setter is someone who can book appointments on your calendar or your salespeople’s calendars.
I’m not talking about people who send hundreds of cold DMs per day.
In our situation…
The setter acts as a second filter after prospects submit applications.
And in episode #311 of The 15 Minute Client Podcast…
I’ll reveal our entire setting process, including:
How we generate applications for our coaching program
How our setters filter through the applications and book qualified leads onto our sales team’s calendar
How we get more appointments with opt-ins who don’t book a call yet
And finally:
How we hire the best setters for our team.
