Increase your price by removing coaching?
Want to know how to increase your prices while removing coaching sessions?
Then listen to this story…
Recently, The Aussie Hermit had a great conversation with a 15 Minute Client customer, Greg.
Now, just for some context. Greg is a golf coach. And a successful one at that. In fact, using my daily email ways, he’s been able to regularly sell his high-ticket program.
So what’s the problem?
The problem is, his high ticket program has 48 in person, 1-on-1 sessions. And so because he’s giving up so much time, he’s limited with the amount of people he can coach.
Here’s some of my advice from the email I sent to him:
====
“…48+ sessions is WAYYY too much.
You’re making the mistake we all make as Coaches.
We think we’re providing more value by giving more coaching sessions. We think we have to give more sessions to justify the price.
Remember – Your prospects don’t even want to go to your coaching sessions.
They just want the result!
So if they can get that result in 4 sessions, instead of 48, they’ll still be interested in your offer.
So my advice to you is this…
Think how you can cut your sessions in half, or even down to 12 or less!
Plan it out. Get creative.
It may mean, for example, they have to do homework away from your coaching sessions. It may mean they have to record videos on their phone and send their swing to you to critique etc.
Bottom line:
Create a program that gets them the results they’re after (reducing their strokes), and do it in half or even a quarter of the sessions.
I bet you can!
And most importantly – I bet people still take you up on your high-ticket offer.
Hope that helps.
-Luke
====
Great advice. Great advice indeed.
But the question is…
Did I deliver?
That’s the question
Well, you tell me…
Here’s what Greg replied not long after:
====
“Hi Luke,
Just a quick update on my progress.
I managed to sell a 12 lesson programme for £3,000 which was paid in full this week.
I can’t believe it!”
====
Pretty cool, ey?
Since then I challenged Greg to raise his fees, which he has, and he’s still continued to sell at the same closing rate.
Now isn’t THAT cool?
Imagine how much time Greg is going to save over the coming years now that he can get results for his clients in 12 sessions instead of 48.
A whole lot!
Imagine also how many extra clients he’ll now be able to help in his 1-on-1 sessions.
A whole lot!
And imagine how much more he’ll be able to scale his revenue.
A whole lot on that front, too.
So The Aussie Hermit was right once again (was there any doubt?)…
Prospect really do buy results and NOT your sessions.
And that means you can take the same approach Greg has if you feel like you’re spending too much time with clients. Reduce the sessions and watch how your conversion rates stay the same. Of course, I’m now telling you to reduce sessions that need to be there to get the result. I’m saying you should remove the sessions you’ve thrown in there to “up the perceived value” of your offer.
All you’re doing is taking up your time and the clients time for absolutely no gain.
With that being said, this is not only place The Aussie Hermit’s advice can save you hundreds of hours each year.
That other place?
My 15 Minute Client program.
In it, I take my 8+ years email experience and shove it into a system that allows anyone – even those who aren’t writers or have ever studied writing – to get results with it fast.
Of course, it’s not a magic bullet.
You need to come to the table with an offer/program people want.
Plus, you actually have to go through the course and take action on the system every day.
But, if you’ve got a little bit of persistence and patience you really can have a system that gets you clients in just 15 minutes per day.

My catastrophic book launch failure
True story:
Back in 2014 I wrote a book. My first book.
It was a book on how to get clients with LinkedIn.
Specifically, LinkedIn groups.
The strategy was pretty cool, too…
Basically, it showed Coaches how to…
1) Grow their own huge LinkedIn group for free by direct messaging prospects in other groups…
2) Cultivate their group, and…
3) Leverage it to get clients.
Anyway, the process was straightforward. It was simple. And most importantly – it worked.
Also, it was how I built my own LinkedIn group of 18,000+ Coaches (which I still have today but never use).
So I write a book about this whole approach…
I get it edited.
I get it forward from my mentor.
I plan out this huge launch.
The whole 9 yards.
Then, the day before I am to hit the “go live” button on my campaign I get a message in my inbox from LinkedIn. It reads (paraphrased)…
“We’re turning off the ability to direct message people within groups”
Meaning – my system I’ve just spent the last 6 months months writing about has been rendered ineffective.
Literally overnight!
I’m shattered.
But the worst part?
All my clients leave me because they could no longer use my method to get clients.
And with that, my income dries up within a week.
Don’t let this happen to you.
Take the lesson I’ve had to learn the hard way, so you never experience the same.
That lesson?
Don’t ever rely on one platform (particularly social) to attract clients.
Don’t rely on Facebook. Don’t rely on LinkedIn. Don’t rely on YouTube, or Google, or any any of them.
The reason?
You don’t own the platform.
They do.
They own your channel.
They own your group.
They even own all your content.
And because of that – they can make whatever changes they want – at any time – rendering whatever client-getting strategy you’re completely useless.
Am I being over dramatic?
You tell me…
Ever heard of the dreaded “Google Slap”?
Look it up.
Tens of thousands of businesses owners went bankrupt overnight, all because they built their business around one platform.
Or what about Facebook ads?
Ever hear about the Coach who’s “crushing it” but then goes under because their ad account gets shut down?
Happens all. the. time.
Or what about content creators who lean right?
Ever hear about them being demonetised or booted off social media because our overlords above don’t it when they say…
“A man is not a woman…”
“Corona virus came from Wuhan”…
“The whistleblower is… [INSERT THOU WHO SHALL NOT BE NAMED]… “
This is a daily occurrence!
And why?
Because you don’t own the platform – they do.
So the bottom line is this:
Don’t base your whole business around one platform.
Because if you do – you put yourself, your business and your family at the mercy of someone else’s decisions.
And more often than not, those decisions won’t be in the interest of your business.
My advice?
Do what Alex Jones did when he got booted off social…
Build your own platform. A platform you own. A platform you control.
That platform?
An email list.
No one can take that platform from you.
Youtube can take your videos.
Apple can shutdown your iTunes account…
Facebook can ban you for life…
But ain’t no one gonna be able to take your list.
It’s the ultimate security in business.
You may not like Alex Jones (heck, you may even think he’s a complete whack job), but his business was able to continue without a hiccup, all because he had his own platform (AKA: his own list).
Build your list.
Nurture your list.
Export and save your list.
Then sleep well knowing your ability to attract clients will always be secure.
With that being said, let’s get down to business…
If you’ve got a list (even a small list), and want more clients from it, then it’s probably time you implemented my 15 Minute Client system, no?
For all the details, wander on over to this link:
What you should never Google
Have you ever Googled…
“How to get clients”?
Most struggling Coaches have (The Aussie Hermit definitely has!), and it’s a terrible idea…
Why?
Because you get back 1.6 billion (with a B) pages of information.
A heck of a lot to sort through.
And, something you’re obviously not going to do (especially considering 99.9% of it is downright trash).
But the truth is – you still need clients.
So how do you find the 0.1% of experts that can give you the advice you need to get more clients?
For yours-hermity, whenever I’m looking to hire someone, I do these 2 things…
First I’ll go ask my colleagues who they think is good.
Then second, once I’ve compiled a list, I’ll look at the type of proof they use to show they’re an expert. The reason being, many Experts will put up proof that on the surface looks good, but doesn’t really prove they’re an expert.
Let’s call it “real proof” vs “vanity proof.”
For example, you’ll see business coaches say put up proof like…
“We help my clients get in front of 1 million people per month!”
Or…
“A recent ‘Like campaign’ produced 6,505 Likes!”
Or…
“We consistently get 40% email opens for our clients!”
Notice how these sound good, but don’t really prove the expert can get results that are meaningful?
It’s like…
Who cares if your client gets in front of a lot of people – how much REVENUE did you help them generate?
Who cares if you got a bunch of likes – how many CUSTOMERS did you get?
Who cares if you get 40% email opens – how many CLIENTS did you get?
Of course, they can’t tell you any of that because most often than not, their campaigns didn’t result in any revenue, customers or clients.
Hence, the need to use vanity proof.
Now, the truth is – I’m not against using vanity proof.
Not at all.
In fact – I use them on my own site!
I think it’s a great way to add an extra layer of proof and credibility that you’re an expert (even if it is just surface level proof).
HOWEVER…
What I am against is using ONLY vanity proof in place of real proof as a way to persuade someone to buy.
So if you see someone who’s only promoting vanity proof – run for the hills!
Instead, make sure the expert you learn from has results that are relevant to what you’re after.
For example, following are some of The Aussie Hermit’s metrics on my site.
And, what I’ll do is point out the real proof vs the vanity proof.
Here we go:
Years in Business: 8
A nice metric to show my experience. But doesn’t really communicate the results I’ve gotten. Vanity proof…
Hours Studying Marketing/Persuasion: 12,000+
That’s a lot of study! And demonstrates I’m an expert on the topic, BUT… it’s also vanity proof…
Money Invested in Personal Development: $350,000+
(Good proof to show how much I’ve invested in myself learning my craft, but.. it’s still doesn’t mean much in terms of results, does it? Definitely a vanity metric that one)…
Total Spent on Advertising: $7,000,000+
Now we’re talkin’. That’s a lot of profitable advertising spend! And a great proof element to boot)…
Current Advertising Spend: $400,000/mo+
More great proof. It’s good because it shows what I have is working right now…
Coaching Leads Generated: 500,000+
Yup. Nice proof with this one. It’s great because it’s a result my clients are looking for…
Coaches Helped: 4,000+
A big number! And a great ‘real proof’ point to show what I have works for many different Coaches and Experts…
Emails Sent: 1 Billion+
A good metric to show I have a lot of experience with email, but the truth is – it’s vanity proof all the way…
Revenue Generated for Clients: $40,000,000+
Ok, this is the big one. The result all my clients are looking for – revenue in their pocket. And this shows I can deliver on that front in spades. So I could have really just shown this one – but adding the others seems so much more impressive, right?
So now you see the difference between real proof and vanity proof.
Interesting, ay?
And, important to know so next time an expert tries to win you over with vanity proof alone (hint: it’s most of them), you won’t get plundered.
You’re welcome.
With that being said…
If you want to discover why over 4,000 Coaches have sought the help of yours hermity to get more clients, then maybe it’s time you took a squiz at my 15 Minute client program.
Stumble on over to this link when you’re ready:
It happened again.
It happened again.
The Aussie Hermit just received yet another message, from yet another fan, who just can’t get enough of The Hermit…
This time it comes from Kimberly…
====
Hi Don Luko,
Just wanted to tell you that reading your emails is an education in itself!
I want to be YOU when I grow up!
There are just a couple of people out there that I look forward to hearing from every single day…
One of them is YOU, and the other goes by the initials “MC”–you probably know who he is!
You both share an absolutely wicked sense of humor, yet still ALWAYS get your point across.
Don’t stop whatever it is you call what you do–it’s BRILLIANT!
Thanks for being there,
Kimberly
=====
Thanks Kimberly.
And you’re right…
What I do is brilliant.
But the truth is, there’s nothing really special about yours-hermity.
Sure – I can send emails that entertain, educate, and make a whole lot of dosh…
But that’s simply because I follow a system.
You see…
It’s the system that shows me where to get the entertaining content…
It’s the system that shows me what to do to present that content in a valuable way…
And it’s the system that shows me how to transition to my offer so that my list buys over and over again.
So as much as I’d like to claim credit that I’m naturally brilliant.
Unfortunately, it’s just not true 🙁
That’s the bad news.
The good news is, that means anyone with the same system can use it to send entertaining, valuable and profitable emails each day – even if they’re not a writer, even if they’ve never studied copywriting, and even if their life is more boring than counting down the seconds on a broken clock.
Don’t believe me?
You don’t have to.
I’ll prove it to you right now.
Simply bound on over to the following link for all the details:

15 minutes could earn you 15% or more
Ever heard the Geico slogan…
“15-Minutes Could Save You 15% or More”?
Well, here’s The Aussie Hermit’s slogan…
“15-Minutes Could Earn You 15% or More… With One Daily Email”
Send one, 15-minute email to your list every day, and you cannot not increase your income.
In fact, I bet if you start doing this one act today, you’ll increase your income at least 15% this month.
Of course, that’s extremely conservative.
When I started emailing daily my income tripled.
That’s what 15-minutes can do for you each day when you leverage the most read, and most profitable marketing medium to ever exist.
Of course, if you want to spend hours every week creating blog posts, podcasts, videos, snap chats, social posts, etc then go ahead.
If dedicating all that time is working for you… GREAT!
If not, maybe it’s time to devote 15-minutes each morning to sending out an email that adds value and attracts high-paying clients.
But what if you’re not sure how?
And what if you’re not a writer or copywriter?
Well, that’s where The Aussie Hermit’s “15 Minute Client” email system comes in.
For more details, skip on over to this link:
Got fired on vacation (even after approval)
Recently I came across this gem of a story in a forum I frequent:
====
“Today, while on vacation, I got fired for not working a shift I wasn’t scheduled for.
Even after texting my boss a copy of my vacation approval letter, she still fired me. FML”
====
Funny.
And scary!
Which is exactly why I left the corporate world…
Job security is an illusion.
You are always at the mercy of someone else’s decisions.
You want a raise? Too bad – their decision.
You want to move departments? Too bad – their decision.
You want to go on vacation? Too bad – their decision.
You want to keep your job? Too bad – their decision.
And so on.
Now, before you lean back in your chair, puffing that corn cob pipe thinking to yourself how great a decision it was to choose the path of a business owner, you’ve got to know…
Client security, like job security, is also an illusion.
“Say what?!”
Yup.
Just like your boss can fire you, your clients can “fire” you or quit at a moments notice, too.
Maybe even 2 or 3 of them within a few days!
(It’s happened to me!)
And guess what?
If they’re your only source of income, well…
You’ve just put yourself and your family under a whole lotta stress and anxiety.
How are you going to pay the bills?
How are you going to pay for food?
What are you going to tell your spouse?
…What are you going to tell your kids?
So the message here is…
Don’t depend on your clients for a pay check. Doing so could put your under a ton of financial stress.
So what’s the remedy?
Simple…
Create a waiting list of clients.
With a waiting list you’ll always have that safety net to catch you if a client (or 2 or 3) should quit unexpectedly.
If one or more falls off who cares?
You’ve got 5-10 more lined up to work with you anyway.
But how do you do this, right?
Easy in theory.
Hard in practice.
Or is it?
Well, if you use The Aussie Hermit’s 15 Minute Client system it’s not.
With this system in hand you can generate a consistent flow of clients clients who want to work with you with just one daily email.
Of course, there is some learning involved to get this running.
(It’s not a magic bullet solution)
And you actually have to sit down each day to send out your emails.
But for those with a little patience and the ability to take action, it can be the safety net you need if the unimaginable happens…
Whether it be clients quitting…
The economy tanking…
Or Facebook shutting down your account.
You’ll be OK because clients are waiting in the wings to work with you whenever you need.
If that’s what you want, then rocket on over to this link now:
Everything IS your fault
How many sales letters have you read, or webinars have you been on, or seminars have you attended where the “guru” says…
“It’s not your fault!”
“You were ripped off… it’s not your fault!”
“The government is out to get you… it’s not your fault!”
“You were taught the wrong marketing strategies… it’s not your fault!”
Bullsh!t.
It IS your fault.
Everything is your fault.
If you’re not where you want to be in your business right now…
Or if you’re struggling to get clients…
Or if you’re not at the level of success you desire…
It’s your fault.
And that’s a bitter pill to swallow to be sure.
But what’s the alternative?
You reject the bitter pill.
You blame your lack of clients or success on some outside event, person, or group of people.
Where does that get you?
Absolutely nowhere.
Blaming keeps you stuck. Going nowhere.
I know, I used to blame all the time.
I remember a few years back, when I was struggling, I read this famous personal development quote that made me super angry. It went something like this…
“Wherever you are in your business right now, that’s exactly where you want to be.”
And as soon as I read this I thought…
“Are you F’kn serious? I’ve got no clients. I’m about to get kicked out of my apartment. The bills are late. And you’re telling me this is where I want to be? BS!”
That was my bitter pill I didn’t want to swallow.
And so I rejected it.
And you know what?
Things only got worse.
(So much so I ended up living with my Nan!)
Then I read this book called “The Success Principles” by Jack Canfield.
And in the very first chapter he taught me a principle that completely changed my life…
To sum it up?
Everything that happened to me was my fault, and that I needed to take 100% responsibility for that.
Talk about tough love!
But it was a HUGE eye opener!
Here’s the beauty in taking this stance…
When you acknowledge that anything and everything that happens to you is really your fault, then you have the POWER to change it. Only until you take ownership and RESPONSIBILITY of whatever is happening in your life, can you actually change it.
For example…
Funnel not converting? It’s your fault. Not some gooroo’s who gave you a crappy course. Own It. And now that you have, you can move forward and try a new approach.
Constantly attracting customers with no money? It’s your fault. Own it. And now that you have, you can move forward and read some sales books on communicating your value better, or maybe marketing techniques to attract high paying clients (see below).
Emails aren’t generating appointments? It’s your fault. It’s not because your market doesn’t read email. Everyone reads email. And I bet there are many experts in your niche using email to get clients. So, own the fact that it’s not because your business is “unique” or whatever, it’s because your emails probably aren’t that great. Now that you have, you have the POWER to move forward…
To learn more about email…
To get better with email…
To start making sales with email (or whatever marketing medium you’re using – this is just an example!).
Point is…
It is your fault. It’s all your fault. And that’s a great thing because it’s means you have the power.
It means you control your life, and your destiny.
To blame. To reject responsibility… Is to surrender control.
Is to give up the ability to change your business and life.
Taking 100% responsibility for everything that happens to you might be a bitter pill to swallow…
But I assure you, it’s way better than the alternative!
-Luke Charlton

P.S. That was some tough love. Tough love most gurus won’t give you because they’d rather manipulate you into the sale.
The good news is, The Aussie Hermit also dishes out kind love too.
If you’re ready to take control of your life and business, and are looking for a proven, client attraction system, then maybe I can help…
I have a super simple method to get all the high-paying clients you can handle with just one, 15 minute email per day…
Clients that are ready to buy your premium programs before you speak a word to them, might I add.
To learn about this system today and how it can work for you (even if you’re not a writer or have a small list), hurry on over to this link now:
Eat, Fast and Live Longer
Recently, my Pa got diagnosed with dementia.
Initially, it wasn’t that bad.
Mixing up names and getting confused.
But now?
He has the memory of a gold fish… if that gold fish had dementia.
He tells the same stories over and over.
He leaves the butter under couches…
He hides money in random places…
He turns off the TV off with the air con remote…
He calls his son (my dad), by his brother’s name…
He even takes beer with him and sleeps in bed with it (although, The Aussie Hermit does that with Whiskey. So that’s maybe not a dementia thing?).
So yeh, he’s on the decline.
In fact, the other day he was getting a brain test and the doctor asked…
“How old are you Bill?”
“48!” He exclaimed.
“Ahh…. Bill… you’re 90.”
“90!?!”
And then my Pa proceeds to laugh hysterically for the next 10 minutes.
Now I dunno about you, but if I thought I was 48 and just found out I was 90 I wouldn’t be laughing!
So why do I bring this up?
I’m not sure, really.
Only to say that, thinking of these stories made me realise how important our memories are to us. They’re everything.
Without our memories life is meaningless. Truly.
Imagine creating an amazing life…
Imagine spending years busting your butt to take yourself from ground zero, knowing nothing about business… To becoming a hugely successful coach… to impacting thousands or even hundreds of thousands… to earning millions…
And not remember any of it.
Scary.
And so one of the things I’ve been trying to do is figure out a way to never get dementia or alzheimers. Or if I am to get it, try and delay it as much as possible.
I’m a big believer in using your diet to heal yourself.
And I’m also a big believer that if you get certain diseases it’s usually related to your diet.
So I’ve been doing some research on what diets stop dementia and other brain related diseases and came across this book called “The Fast Diet.” They’ve found in lab tests with mice that if you take up a diet where you fast once or twice per week (where on the fast days your caloric intake is less than 600 calories), it can greatly delay the onset of mental health diseases.
Now, I encourage you to do your own research, but I think it’s worth checking out.
(Or, at the very least, watch the documentary by the same guy who wrote the book. It’s called Eat, Fast & Live Longer.)
With that being said, this email is a bit different than usual.
Just wanted to pass on something to think about.
No one wants to be stuck at the end of their life with no memories, looking into their son or daughters face and only seeing a stranger.
Be well.

P.S. I may not be able to stop mental disease, but I can definitely help you get more high-paying clients if that’s what you’re after.
For all the details, glide on over to this link:
Don’t buy from these ‘gurus’ whatever you do
Do you want a sales funnel that brings home the bacon (AKA: clients and customers)… almost every day?

Well, make sure you DON’T buy from these people…
To give you some context, some guy on Facebook started a conversation in a group that went like this:
=====
“What’s the average price to charge when creating a sales funnel for others?
I.e. Optin
Tripwire
Upsale
Confirmation Page
Sales copy
5 days email sequence
Facebook Ad set up”
=====
An innocent enough question.
But then here’s how the “gurus” chimed in…
Guru 1 says…
=====
“I would say nothing less than $1250 for the above. If they need strategy and content creation : $2k min”
=====
Then guru 2 interjects with some sage advice…
=====
“FB ad set up is $1,000.

Optin funnel is $2,500

5 day email sequence $500

Sales copy $1,000
″
=====
And then guru 3 had to get his word in…
=====
“Yeah. I do the above and it’s $7,500 but I also include (2) offers as well.
It really shouldn’t be any less considering what they will gain from it.”
=====
And there were many other gurus, too.
All with different advice.
And all having no idea what they’re talking about.
In a moment you’ll see why, including why if anyone gives you quote this cheap has no idea what they’re doing.
Don’t give them your money.
Here’s how The Aussie Hermit laid the smackdown in this conversation…
=====
“Do your clients want a sales funnel? Or a sales funnel that converts?
If they want a sales funnel that converts you’re looking upwards of 20k, plus royalties.
The reason?
They are (quite literally) asking you to build their whole business online.
-Luke”
=====
His reply…
=====
“Just a sales funnel. With a sales funnel that converts are you basically working until the entire funnel and ad is fully optimized and profitable?”
=====
“Right.
So basically you’re saying to him, “ill do the tech setup for you, have fun with the rest” ?
-Luke”
=====
“Luke Charlton exactly!”
=====
“Fair enough. I wouldn’t call that a sales funnel then.
But that might just be me.”
=====
“Luke Charlton I see your point…”
=====
And there you have it.
Total ignorance for what they’re actually selling. And because of that, YOU are the one that gets ripped off.
Some hard truths:
Because of the whole “funnel revolution” there are many people out there who call themselves “sales funnel experts” and are selling you a “sales funnel” but you’re not actually getting a real sales funnel.

Instead, what you’re actually getting is them setting up the tech for you (something you can easily do yourself using a tool like Click Funnels, or pay someone from Upwork $100 to do for you).
Sure they’ll put some copy in there to fill in the gaps and make it look nice.
But will it convert?
Go check your bank balance after you drive some ads to it and get back to me.
Until then, what I will say is – don’t fall for these sales funnel “gurus.”
Most have no idea what they’re doing.
In fact, I would say a good 98% don’t know what they’re doing.
And the ones that do?
They’re extremely expensive.
But they’re expensive for a reason:
1.They actually make you a lot more money than you invest.
2.They avoid the costly mistakes that come with running ads to a funnel that doesn’t work.
Therefore, they actually end up becoming your cheapest (yes, cheapest) option.
For example, a client recently said this about yours-hermity:
====
“We were hesitant to hire Luke because his fees are quite expensive.
However, all that fear melted away when we saw how many extra sales came into our business!
Now, we think he’s too cheap!”
-Victoria Black and Gen Davidson, Owners of Australia’s #1 Fasting Diet, SuperFast Diet
====
Bottom line?
Be careful who you’re buying from.
Be careful what you’re really buying.
And be careful what you’re paying.
Cheap is rarely the cheapest option.
In fact – it often costs you a boatload more in time and money.
Alright then, onto business…

How to send profitable emails… FAST!
15 minutes per day.
That’s what The Aussie Hermit’s entire multi 6-figure/year business comes down to.
Just one, 15-minute email per day.
And when I tell Coaches they can have the same…
When I tell them they too can pump out profit producing emails in just minutes per day (even if they don’t think they’re a ‘writer’ or copywriter) they balk at the idea.
But right now I’m going to prove you can do it.
In fact, I’m going to prove to you you don’t actually need to learn anything new to get these emails done fast – that you have everything you need within you, right now, to write these fast emails starting TODAY.
Let’s begin:
And, I’ll start by asking some simple questions…
Have you ever known someone to write a screenplay via Facebook messenger?
Have you ever known someone to write an academic essay via SMS?
Or have you ever known someone to write a book via a Facebook post?
Of course not.
And why?
Because because these messages don’t lend themselves to the chosen medium.
Meaning…
Every communication medium out there – from social media, to ‘snail mail,’ to Facebook messenger to SMS – have their own style of communication.
Some are academic.
Some are expected to be well written and highly edited (i.e. books and screenplays).
And others?
Well, they’re far more casual. Far more conversational. Far more… relaxed.
And this is exactly why The Aussie Hermit loves email.
It’s the great equaliser for those who aren’t writers or copywriters.
You can sit down, pump out in an email in 15 minutes, read over it once for grammatical errors, hit send and STILL make sales – why?
Because email is NOT like the medium of a book or a screenplay or an academic paper.
It’s a conversational medium (hence why there is a “reply” button).
Therefore, people don’t expect perfection.
They expect (and want) a message like they get from friends and family.
Light. Casual. Conversational. But also – entertaining.
And this is why yours-hermity and his clients can send emails that would make an english teacher faint, yet make more money with that one email than they make in a year.
We’re not trying to be perfect.
We’re just trying to get out an email that entertains our list, that teaches a valuable lesson, and that links them to an offer that helps them.
So if you want to send profitable emails fast, forget about sending screenplay or book quality words. Don’t over edit. Don’t over think.
Just get it done, hit “send” and watch as your bank balance grows.
With that being said…
If you’d like help creating entertaining, valuable and most of all… profitable emails (even if you’re not a “writer” or copywriter), then maybe it’s time to check out my 15 Minute Client system.
