How to name a 5-day challenge

A couple of days ago The Aussie Hermit talked to a client who wanted to run a 5-day challenge to cold traffic.

And the first thing I asked was to see the link to her challenge opt-in page.

When she sent it to me, she asked:

“What do you think about the name of the challenge?”

For context, here was the name:

“How to show up calm and confident even when someone triggers you.”

Now…

This headline is okay, in that it will get prospects to opt-in.

However, it isn’t speaking to a problem people are willing to spend $5,000 or more to solve.

But that’s not what I actually want to talk about in this email.

You see, this client actually had a much bigger problem that’s often missed by 90% of Coaches.

(Even those that are very experienced running paid ads.)

And if left unchecked…

It almost guarantees my client wouldn’t get clients from her 5-day challenge.

How does this apply to you?

This law states that the more time you spend with someone…

The more chances you’ll have to form a strong friendship.

And this is exactly why many Coaches find it easier to close prospects they’ve met at in-person events.

This propinquity is difficult to replicate online.

But those strategies don’t allow prospects to spend much more than an hour or so with you.

However…

There is one specific strategy that I’ve found puts the law of propinquity into effect very strongly.

Even if you run your business online.

This strategy does the heavy lifting for you so that when you speak to your prospects…

They already feel like they’ve spent hours and hours with you.

Even if you haven’t physically spoken to them yet.

I’m talking about having your own book.

The reason having your own book is so powerful is because prospects can spend hours reading up on your expertise.

And because of the law of propinquity…

They’ll show up to appointments feeling like they already know, like, and trust you.
