Client Attraction
Why I happily give up clients every week
Following comes a question from Jes, a subscriber, who’s not so sure about The Aussie Hermit’s daily email methodology: “Okay Luke So if all you do is send 1 email a day and never do outbound calls what percentage of subscribers actually join your program? In the education businesses I’ve worked in 9 out of 10 sales come from outbound sales and follow up. It seems you would need hundreds of leads just to get 1 client into a $3k program with no sales team? Jes” Tis a good question. And, unfortunately, it’s a question I can’t give an exact answer to. The reason being - every market is different, every offer is different, and every email campaign is different. So any numbers I give for my campaigns are going to be totally irrelevant to anyone reading this. However, what I can give are some general guidelines if you follow The Aussie Hermit’s system. And that is… 1. You help a niche market… 2. You have an offer between $3,000-$10,000… 3. You have a lead magnet that builds your list with paid ads, and… 4. You email consistently using The Aussie Hermit’s daily email method… Then you can expect to convert about 1% of leads that come onto your list. Sometimes higher. Sometimes less depending on how you’re communicating your offer, how regular your emails are etc. So what that means is - for every 100 email subscribers you generate you should be getting one new client at a minimum. (Certainly not “hundreds” of leads like Jes mentioned) Again, this is a very general guideline. Take it with a grain of salt. Personally, I don’t really look at my campaigns that way. I just look to ensure I’m making back at least 3x more on the front-end (so I don’t include any sales from clients who buy a second and third time etc). And if I’m not, I’ll do 1 (or all) of these 3 things… Reduce lead costIncrease lead qualityIncrease fees. With number 3 being the quickest/easiest solution. I know if do that, I’ll have a very profitable campaign. One final thing I should mention in response Jes’ question is - I never do outbound calls. I never pick up the phone and chase clients down. First of all, I’ve done that and it sucks. It takes up a lot of time. Also, it’s more of a “brute force” way of closing the deal. It works for some companies - but that’s just not my style. (I also don’t want the headaches of managing a sales team) Second of all, there’s simply no need. When you build your list with quality leads and email that list consistently following my 15 Minute Email formula - you get clients chasing you down (as opposed to you chasing them down). That’s one of the big benefits of the system - it’s all about attraction, not chasing. And, as you can imagine - this saves you a lot of time. (To the point where you can attract clients in just 15 minutes per day) Am I missing out on more clients each week by not doing outbound calls? Probably. But as mentioned - my campaigns are already profitable. So why add more time and stress to my plate when I don’t have to? The extra clients aren’t worth it. I’d rather spend time with my kids, read a book, or trawl through one of my conspiracy theory forums. With that being said… Each of the 4 steps I laid out above is exactly what I take you through in my 15 Minute Client program. Along with that, every lesson has a proven framework, fill-in-the-blank template, or formula. That way, you’re not guessing your way to clients. You’re following tried and true processes. But probably the best part? You get direct access to yours-hermity. Me. The Aussie Hermit. The Grand Poobah of Persuasion. The King of Konversion. And that means you get me reviewing every major marketing assets before you launch so you have the best chance of hitting out out of the park first go. 5 valuable insights from helping 1,000+ Coaches get more clients
From mid-2018 to mid-2021 The Aussie Hermit took time off his coaching business.
The reason?
For the birth of my first daughter, Indiana.
However, I didn’t just slack off during that time.
No no no.
For those 3 years, I continued scaling ad campaigns for high-level Coaches.
I continued studying marketing, sales, copy, and persuasion.
And I was even hired by my clients to coach their clients.
For example, 8-figure Coach Grace Lever hired me to help her top mastermind get more clients with paid ads and email.
The point is…
During that time I was still working with a lot of Coaches.
In fact, I would say working with just Grace’s community meant I was able to help well over 1,000 female Coaches get more clients.
And the reason I bring this up is because - when you work with that many Coaches you get very good at recognising why they can’t attract clients, what their real problems are, and exactly what they need to do to do to fix it.
In other words…
You see problems and solutions that other Business Coaches (even so called "gurus") with less experience could never see or solve.
So what I want to do now is list a few of those common problems.
Many you will recognise. But what I’ve found is that many Coaches recognise them, but they don’t understand them (or why they should implement them).
So take the following list very seriously because they are the core of why 95% of Coaches I work with can’t get to the next level.
- Aren’t solving an urgent problem
I’ve spoken about this before, but the #1 reason why Coaches struggle to book appointments is because they’re not solving a problem that’s urgent enough.
They think they are (and that’s another problem in and of itself).
But after reviewing their marketing material I can see the problem they describe is not that urgent.
(That’s if they even describe a problem. Sometimes they’re not even hitting on a problem at all) - Not clear on their #1 ideal client
If you want to create campaigns that gets clicks, opt ins, appointments and sales, you need to base that campaign around your #1 ideal client.
The core of that client is the urgent problem (as mentioned above).
But once you’re clear on that, then you need to know their fears, frustrations and desires around that urgent problem.
Get clear on those and you’ll know exactly what to say in your ads, lead magnets, emails, and sales conversations to get them signed up. - Don’t package their offer in a way that’s desirable
Many Coaches I work with think they’re selling coaching.
And so when they go to sell their program to a prospect they think they’ll win them over by saying things like…
"In this program you get 12 1-on-1 sessions, 3 workbooks, my LMNOP template, my ABC script, my XYZ bonuses etc"…
The problem is - the prospect doesn’t want any of this.
What do they want?
They want to get their urgent problem solve.
Or another way of saying that is…
They’re paying you for a result.
And so what you want to do is package, position and price your offer in a way that communicates that resul in the first instance. Then once that’s done, you can move on to explaining *how* you’re going to get that result (AKA: your coaching, course and trainings). - Aren’t implementing one clear strategy to get clients
Often the Coaches I coach are bouncing around from bright shiny guru funnel to bright shiny guru funnel.
The problem begins when Coaches don’t see results in *3 minutes* of launching their guru funnel. They immediately declare "this doesn’t work for me!" and then move onto the next opportunity offer.
(This was The Aussie Hermit’s biggest problem when getting started)
And so my job is to help them get focused on picking just one strategy to start with.
The reason why I just get them to pick one strategy is because that’s all you need to get consistent clients.
Further, I make sure whatever strategy I recommend they can actually implement.
(Working with Coaches I know most hate tech and I know they’re not great at marketing/selling. Also, I know many don’t love the funnel stuff, they just think they need it to get clients. But that ain’t true, either)
This is why I recommend the dead simple "build your list and email your list" strategy.
It’s low tech.
It’s quick and easy to set up (only requires 2 landing pages and an email system).
And it’s the easiest strategy to get clients with online.
The reason being, when someone books an appointment that’s come from your email list, they’re very warm.
Meaning - these people are "pre-sold" on you.
They know who you are. They know you’re an expert. They like and trust you.
Also - they know about your program.
And so they’re jumping on the phone because they want to invest.
They’re excited to see if your program is a good fit for them.
This is a far different type to the cold prospect you’re probably used to.
That’s the type of prospect where you have to introduce yourself and establish your credibility.
You have to do a lot of education on the sales call about how your system works.
You have to build trust.
And you have to overcome *a lot* of objections.
Coaches don’t like this (and rightly so) because it leads to a lot of calls for not many sales.
But again, the simple fix to this is to get clients using email.
Finally… - They give up too early
Unfortunately, this isn’t one that I can help with that often.
But I see a lot of Coaches give up too early when results don’t come fast enough.
I understand how frustrating it can be when your funnel doesn’t work.
Further, I understand the anxiety and stress that comes with a low income.
(Believe me, I understand)
But the truth is - I’ve seen the most "tech illiterate" Coaches succeed.
I’ve seen Coaches with English as their third language succeed.
I’ve seen Coaches with a website that looks like it was designed by a 3 year old succeed.
And the reason why these Coaches succeeded was because they kept going.
Moreover…
They believed in me - their Coach - and my advice, and they kept implementing diligently.
And that’s why any Coach who keeps going can also succeed.
You just gotta solve those problems I mentioned above and you’ll be fine.
There are other problems that come up often for Coaches. But those are the big ones.
Interestingly, when I started up my coaching business again in mid-2021, I focused on the above 5 steps.
—> I built a marketing campaign around one urgent problem (helping Coaches get more clients)…
—> I got clear on my #1 dream client (a Coach earning under 6 figures)…
—> I packaged an offer in a way that spoke to my dream client’s wants (getting consistent clients sending 1 email per day)…
—> I built one marketing strategy to get clients (list building with paid ads, and 1 daily email), and most of all…
—> I worked the system until I got clients.
And because I focused on those steps, I got clients within 1 month of starting my campaign.
Now, I’m not saying you’ll get clients within a month of following the same steps.
As you know - I’ve been running campaigns for a long time. Therefore, I knew how to do those steps without any mistakes.
But it does give you an idea of how effective those steps are when implemented correctly.
With that being said…
Inside The Aussie Hermit’s 15 Minute Client program I take you through each of these steps methodically.
Along with that, every step in the program comes with a proven template, script or fill-in-the-blank formula.
Each having been refined many times over the course of having thousands of Coaches go through them.
But what you’ll probably like most about the program is you get access to The Hermit.
That’s right - you get direct coaching from yours-hermity so that if you get stuck - or if you have any questions - I’m right there to point out exactly what you need to do to make your ads, lead magnet, emails and sales calls convert.

When dead broke prospects will spend on your high-ticket program
A couple of days ago, I was having a conversation with a client.
And, like most Coaches, he was looking to attract more prospects who could afford his coaching.
Now, just for some context before I go on…
This Coach helps women who struggle to have “the big O” if you know what I mean.
(I would say the word but my email would probably go into the SPAM folder)
And so, the way he was trying to attract prospects with money was by calling out “successful entrepreneurial women.”
I’m paraphrasing here, but in his ad, he said something like…
“Are you a successful female entrepreneur who struggles to have the big O?”
Now I see Coaches do this all the time…
They think that the way to attract clients with money is to focus on working with lawyers or executives or professionals or doctors or successful entrepreneurs.
But this is not the right approach.
Just because you attract someone who generally earns more doesn’t mean they’ll buy your program.
In other words - a high level of income doesn’t equate to high ticket sales.
Let me prove this to you.
In fact…
Let me show you how even a broke person can afford a high ticket program.
Imagine you work at McDonald’s.
You’re earning minimum wage and basically, you’re broke.
You definitely can’t afford a high ticket program.
Then one day you get some news…
Unfortunately, you’ve just been diagnosed with terminal cancer.
You’ve got 4 weeks left to live.
Obviously, you’re devastated.
But a few days later, you happen to run into a doctor.
And upon speaking to this doctor he delivers you some incredible news.
He says, “Hey, I’ve actually cured 1,000 people with the exact same cancer as you. They were all terminal and they all survived. What I did was give them this special hemp oil. It works great every time. Unfortunately, though, the hemp oil is pretty expensive. It’s $10,000 per dose. And you only need one dose.”
Now let me ask you…
Are you going to find that money to pay for that $10,000 vial?
Absolutely.
It doesn’t matter that you’re broke.
You’re going to borrow it off friends, family, you’re going to put it on a credit card.
In other words - you’re going to do anything and everything you can to pay for that $10,000 dose.
So what has The Aussie Hermit just demonstrated here?
I’ve demonstrated that even a broke person can find the money for a high priced product or service.
And how?
Because it’s not the demographic you work with that’s most important.
If you want to sell high ticket, what’s most important is that you focus on a market with an urgent problem.
When you help someone with an urgent problem (and if that urgent problem is important enough to them), they will find the money to solve it.
Do that in the first instance, and you won’t have to worry about calling out “professionals” or “successful entrepreneurs” or other high earning income individuals.
With that being said…
The first thing we do together inside my 15 minute client programme is help you find an urgent problem your market is going to spend a lot of money to solve.
Along with that, I show you how to attract that “urgent problem” market onto your list with paid ads, then convert them into clients sending just one email per day.

The day I tried to bamboozle my piano teacher (& got shown up)
For many years now The Aussie Hermit has been studying music production.
Specifically - electronic music production
And, one of the things I decided to do back in 2010 to help with my music creation was learn piano.
I figured if you know piano (including how to put together piano music), then you have the foundations to create pretty much anything.
So back in 2010 one of the things I did to help with that was hire a piano teacher.
Every Tuesday I’d drive down to the piano centre at my local university, and she’d take me through a lesson.
Here’s the cool part though:
This piano teacher was (and still is) crazy awesome.
She could literally hear any pop song played to her once, then sit down at the piano and play it perfectly.
I kid you not.
Even crazier she could do this with heavy metal and even mashed up electronic dance music.
For example, this one evening I took a song in for her to play that’s basically a mix of weird samples all put together.
It’s hard to describe so I’ll put a link to that song here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8PtYBvuUYcc
Just listen to a few seconds of that song and you’ll see what I mean.
I love the song.
But as you can see - to play it on the piano is impossible.
So I gave it to her as a challenge.
(I tried to bamboozle her because she’d played every song I’d given her until that point).
She put the song in her CD player.
She had two listens this time instead of one. She sat down, and I swear - she played that song on the piano.
It blew my mind.
(And my ego!)
Then the question I asked her right after she stopped was…
"How long have you been playing piano?"
"35 years," was her response.
She was only 40 years old at the time.
It really is amazing to see people perform who are masters of their craft.
Also, it makes you really want to do what they do.
And as I was thinking about that story today it reminded me of the quote by Jerry Rice…
"Today I will do what others won’t do so tomorrow I can do what others can’t."
Clearly, she had put in the work each day for many years to perform at a level others can only dream of.
It wasn’t an accident.
It was consistent work on her craft.
And the reason I bring this story up is because we Coaches want to have a business and a life others only dream of, too.
But the problem is, not many of us are willing to do what it takes to get that result.
When I tell Coaches if you want consistent clients all you have to do is send an email each day to your list, many cringe.
Often, they just want to go straight to automating.
The problem with that is, most Coaches' emails don’t convert in the beginning. So if you write a huge sequence of crappy emails, more than likely you’re going to have to re-do them all when they don’t convert.
Point is…
We Coaches often want to skip the consistent work that’s necessary to create the business we want.
The Aussie Hermit knows this because that was my biggest problem for the first few years I was in business.
Sure I was busy.
But I was busy doing a whole bunch of stuff.
I was "flip flopping" between funnel after funnel and never put in the consistent work on any one thing.
You can’t be successful with that type of approach.
Instead, you have to find a marketing strategy you know works, and you have to implement that strategy consistently.
This is why I like daily email.
It’s worked for Coaches for decades and will continue to work for decades to come.
Plus, it’s very simple.
I know that if I want clients all I have to do is get up and write an email to my list.
I don’t have to create up sells and down sells and other products or complex funnels to get clients.
But the truth is - this approach still requires consistent work.
Some days I don’t feel like sending an email.
Some days I would rather sleep in.
Some days I’d rather be creating music.
But I send an email each day because I know if I do, I can continue living a life others can only dream of.
With that being said…
If you’ve tried implementing a bunch of different funnel strategies and none of it has come together, then maybe it’s time to try daily email?
Inside my 15 Minute Client program, I show you how to come up with an unlimited amount of email content (seriously - you could write hundreds of emails every week if you wanted).
Also, I show you how to get them done in minutes even if it currently takes you an age to write content.
Along with that, I show you how to build your list with quality leads using paid ads.
And the great part about my approach is it only takes a few minutes each week to keep the campaign going once it’s up and running.
In other words - your lead gen is basically autopilot.
So if all that sounds like something you’re after, then make sure to put your name on the waitlist here:

Why successful offline Coaches struggle to make it online
Recently, I started running ads for a new client.
She’s a very successful Coach.
She earns over 7 figures per year.
And she even has a pretty big team working under her.
The problem?
She can’t make her online ads work.
Like many successful Coaches who hire me, she can convert the warm traffic she generates (I.e. referrals, interviews, offline workshops and stage presentations etc), but when it comes to paid ads?
Her money just goes down the drain.
To find out why this happens, let me tell you what I told her after reviewing her funnel for the first time:
"This funnel probably won’t convert. We can run a bit of traffic to it just to see as you’ve already got it set up. But looking at the message and the webinar presentation, it’s probably not going to give you the appointments you need at a cost that will be profitable."
And, unfortunately, The Aussie Hermit was right.
After testing multiple different angles I got the lead cost down from $30 to $15 or so. Further, I drove enough traffic to get about 70 prospects to watch her presentation.
The result?
Not even one application.
So how did I know this was going to happen?
Because the problem affecting this presentation is the same problem I see Coaches struggle with who can’t make their ads convert.
And that problem is…
The Coach’s message is nothing new or unique.
Here’s the deal - if you want to be successful with online ads you need a message that’s unique.
It has to be different.
It has to feel new.
If not…
If it feels like your prospect has heard it before, they’ll just ignore it (or just not even see it such is the volume of marketing message they’re hit with every day).
So you need a message that’s unique as that’s what’s going to make it stand out.
But how?
Well, there are 2 main ways to stand out with your message online.
One is easier and the other is harder.
Let’s talk about both of those ways now:
The first (and easier) way is to pick a "niche."
By focusing on a small segment of the market you have less competition.
Less competition means it’s easier to stand out.
Here are two example headlines to illustrate this:
"Do you need help losing weight?" vs "Do you need help with binge eating disorder?"
One is a broad market and the other is a niche market.
Going after the broader market makes it harder to stand out, while going after the niche market makes it easier to stand out.
And as mentioned, it’s much easier to stand out by picking a niche than the second way.
And that second way is - you need a "unique mechanism."
I’m not going to go into this in this email. But suffice it to say, this is a much more sophisticated approach to marketing that allows you to stand out in a crowded marketplace.
I recommend this option only if you’re already doing at least 100k/mo like my client (or are experienced in copywriting).
The point is…
If you have a message that works great for referrals or offline speaking gigs but doesn’t seem to work online, then you need to follow one of these 2 paths.
Because if you don’t, then I can virtually guarantee you’ll be pouring your ad money down the drain.
With that being said…
Picking a niche is the very first thing we do together inside my 15 Minute Client program.
Often Coaches will come into the program with a general market they’re focused on. However, using the proven processes inside Module 1, I show you how to refine that market.
I show you how to get much more specific.
And, more importantly, I show you how to call out that niche market in your ads so they sign up to your list.
Then, from there, I show you how to send them a daily email that resonates with their desires so they eagerly book appointments to learn more about your program.
If that feels like something you need, then make sure to put your name on the waitlist here:

Falling for the wrong guru
The Aussie Hermit doesn’t spend much time on Facebook.
Other than answering client questions in my 15 Minute Client coaching group a few minutes per day, I’m pretty much non-existent on there.
However, there are times when I’m navigating to the coaching group that I see posts from other groups.
Specifically, other marketing/Facebook ad related groups.
And, when I scroll past I’m continually shocked at the type of questions people ask.
Shocked because these people are supposed to be marketing experts (more like “ex-spurts”) that help other businesses.
For example, often I’ll see questions like this:
“Hey guys, I just got my first Facebook ad client. What do I do next? Lol”
Or…
“Hey guys, I just sold a guy a $5k program to write a sales letter. What’re the best books to help me with this?”
It’s scary.
And that’s why when hiring an expert you have to be extremely careful.
Unfortunately, The Aussie Hermit was burned many times when starting out, which lost me tens of thousands and years of progress.
For example, my first business mentor took me through 12 coaching sessions (for $7k), where we didn’t work on any client attraction system at all.
In fact, half the sessions were basically like therapy because she wanted to talk about my parents for some reason.
But being so green I didn’t know any better.
Then, my second mentor (which ironically, my first mentor introduced me to), sold me on hype.
I believed I could go from being a person with basically no marketing skills to an expert that sold $50k+ packages.
Sad.
(Side note: He ripped off so many people I last heard had to flee to China to continue doing business)
Then my third mentor sold me a speaker program that promised to get me on stages, but when I got in I realised was not going to deliver on that at all.
Further to that, when asking for a refund he refused.
So you’ve got to triple check anyone you hire (including yours-hermity).
Look at their case studies.
Look at results they’ve achieved.
And ask lots of questions.
It sounds obvious, but we Coaches have a habit of falling for the wrong guru.
So due diligence is needed.
Because hiring a bad mentor is much more expensive than not hiring one at all.
Trust me.
With that being said…
As someone who’s been helping Coaches since 2013, I’ve come across pretty much every problem out there.
From choosing your niche to crafting your offer to building your list to running profitable ad campaigns (some as high as $25,000 per day) for all the known (and not-so-known) funnel types out there.
More importantly…
I’ve helped thousands of Coaches grow their businesses.
Many of these were earning under 6 figures. However, I’ve also had many clients earning over 6, 7 and some even at 8-figures.
Of course, I don’t want you to take my word for it.
If you’re considering hiring me - ask around.
Do your research.
Don’t blindly jump in because I’m touting how good I am.
I’m biased, obviously.
Then, when you find out I am legit - and you want to attract clients sending just one email per day - well, then, make sure to put your name on the waitlist here:

Eternal business lessons of the Bible
If you’re looking for a book that teaches proven, time-tested principles to market your business and become a wildly successful Coach, there’s probably none better than the Bible.
There are literally thousands of lessons inside.
And the cool part is, you don’t even have to be a follower of Jesus to benefit from them.
It’s true!
(Although, being a follower of Jesus certainly does have some other great benefits you might want to check out. Eternal life? Anyone?)
And what The Aussie Hermit particularly likes about a lot of these lessons is they’re not anything new.
Some are even a bit boring.
And the reason I like that is because it’s these boring “I’ve heard it before” lessons that are almost always the thing we need to do to succeed.
They are proven “truths.”
And I also like them because most people aren’t implementing these boring truths. And so if you can you’ll be far ahead of everyone else.
A good example of that is the lessons within “The Book of Proverbs.”
The lessons inside aren’t particularly new.
They’ve been around for thousands of years.
You’ve probably even heard many of them before in one form or another.
But are you implementing them?
That’s the question.
Let The Aussie Hermit show you one of these boring truths now.
In chapter 10, verse 4 of The Book of Proverbs there comes this quote:
“He who has a slack hand becomes poor, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.”
Now, this is a totally obvious message.
Don’t be a slacker. Instead, be consistent and you’ll reap the benefits - which is absolutely true.
If you’re consistent with your diet - you’ll lose weight.
If you’re consistent with your investing - you’ll gain wealth.
If you’re consistent with your church-going - you’ll gain more connection to Jesus etc.
We know this.
We’ve heard it before.
We know it to be true.
It’s boring.
But here’s the thing…
How many of us are actually implementing this truth on a day-to-day basis in our businesses?
I have to tell you…
Over the years The Aussie Hermit has dropped off the daily email bandwagon more than once.
I was slack.
I was inconsistent with my emailing.
Sometimes I (gasp!) even took months off at a time.
And you know what happened?
My income went wayyy down.
But you know what happened when I wrote my list an email every day?
My income went wayyy up (and continues to go up!).
So there has always been direct correlation between my consistency and my being a slack-arse.
The same will be true for you, too.
If you’re consistent in your marketing efforts, you’ll reap the benefits.
Now, that doesn’t mean you do the same thing every day even if it’s not working for you.
For example…
Maybe you’ve been trying every day for months to get a complicated guru funnel to work (i.e. a webinar funnel or tripwire funnel), but it’s just not converting.
If that’s the case, there’s no point continuing to bang your head against a wall.
It might be time to put your time and consistency in something else.
Personally, The Aussie Hermit likes email.
In order to reap the benefits of Proverb 10:4 I know I simply have to:
A) Consistently build my list each day with paid ads, and…
B) Consistently email that list each day with value and an offer to work with me.
I know if I do that, I’ll continue to fill my business with clients.
Sure, this isn’t the newest approach out there.
And it’s definitely not the sexiest.
But you know what?
When you have an offer people want, it works really (really) well.
With that being said…
If you’d like a simple approach you can stay consistent with then maybe The Aussie Hermit’s “15 Minute Client” program is what you’re after?
Inside, I show you how to build your list with quality leads using paid ads and a simple lead magnet.
Then, along with that, I show you how to send a client-getting email to that list each day in about 15-30 minutes.
That includes coming up with the email idea, putting it down on paper (AKA: your word processor), and getting it sent out.

The only time I recommend a complex funnel
In yesterday’s email, The Aussie Hermit wrote about why you don’t need a complex funnel to get clients.
And how this is a big conspiracy theory we Coaches buy into.
However, there is one time (and only one time) I recommend you choose a complex funnel.
And in a moment I’ll tell you what that one time is.
But first, let me share with you what Anne, a subscriber, wrote in reply to my email yesterday:
"Luke,
I want to let you know how much I enjoy your emails. They are truly entertaining! The way you segue into your offer at the end of each email is brilliant (and simple!). In fact, I've adopted this approach with my daily emails and just opened my waitlist to my high-ticket.
I'm also trying a lead magnet! I love the simplicity in this approach. I'd love to do away completely with my frustratingly complex funnel (your message on funnels has come through loud and clear) but I will keep it going until I see how the lead magnet works.
My goal for 2022, inspired by you, is to increase revenue by SIMPLIFYING.
Anyway - just wanted to reach out and let you know!
Cheers!"
Now, the first - and most important - reason I share that with you is to brag.
The Aussie Hermit has a big ego.
So any time a subscriber writes in to stroke that ego, I’ve got to let everyone know.
The second reason I share that with you is to show you - yes, you can actually send marketing emails that people love to read, and buy from.
Who would have thought?
Then the third reason I share that with you is because Anne has a complex funnel.
However, what Anne doesn’t share (but I will because I know Anne and have helped her with her funnel), is that it’s actually quite a profitable funnel.
You see, Anne is one of the lucky Coaches to have a complex low ticket funnel (with up sells and automations) that actually pays for her advertising plus makes a profit.
And so even though Anne is going to try The Aussie Hermit’s far simpler "lead magnet + daily email" approach (great move by the way), I still recommend she continues to run ads to her complex funnel.
And the reason why is…
If you’ve got a complex funnel that’s profitable, why would you change it?
That would be silly.
Instead, you should scale it as high as it can go then add in daily email on top of that.
A good example of that are my past clients over at "Clients & Community" (Landon Stewart & Chris Stapleton).
When they came to me they were already running ads to a funnel that was converting.
However, they weren’t doing much with their email subscribers.
So did I advise them to ditch their converting funnel and build their business with a simple "lead magnet + daily email" strategy.
No.
That would be silly.
Their funnel was already converting. So why change it?
All The Aussie Hermit did was simply coach them on how to the email leads they were already generating.
The result?
I’ll let you read a message Landon sent me:
"We're averaging about 3 new apps per day from email & a good majority of them are solid apps. Based on our price point & conversions email should add an extra 6-figures or so next month... which we're very happy with."
(And this was within 30 days of sending emails as an FYI. Amazing what adding a simple daily email does to your ad campaigns)
The point is, though…
If you have a complex funnel working you should keep it going.
Moreover - you should scale it as high as it can go.
That is, of course, until it stops working.
Or in Anne’s case - becomes too much of a headache to manage to the point that it's pulling her away from working on her business thus reducing profits.
(Complex funnels have a lot of moving pieces and so often have to be tweaked regularly).
And when that happens, I would say it’s time to transfer to a simpler way to grow your business using a lead magnet + daily email approach.
That’s what I do.
That’s what my clients do.
And even in today’s market with all the new tech going on, it still works great.
(And it's way easier)
With that being said…
If you already have a funnel going that's generating leads, and you simply want to learn how to email those leads regularly, then that’s what I teach inside my 15 Minute Client program.
As mentioned, sending daily email is a great way to take your ad campaign ROI to far higher levels.
Also, if you don’t have any funnel, no problem.
I also teach this inside the program as well.
You’ll learn how to craft your lead magnet, how to set up your landing pages, how to write your lead magnet ad and, of course, how to launch your ad campaign so it brings you quality leads on autopilot.
So whether you’re already running ads or a Coach looking for a complete system to bring in consistent clients, The 15 Minute Client program can help.

42 conspiracy theories that’ll make your head spin
In celebration Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial starting this week, The Aussie Hermit has decided to share a list of some of the "conspiracy theories" I’ve come across over the last few years.
This should be for some fun reading.
However, just before I do, I have to add this context:
Just because I list them below, doesn’t mean I believe them.
As mentioned, it’s just some things floating around out there.
Further…
If you can’t handle a little fun reading through some of these (admittedly "very out there") conspiracy theories, then you should stop reading.
Some of these are pretty shocking.
With that being said, here is a list of 42 conspiracy theories that’ll make your head spin:
- The 2020 election was rigged by China, the Democrats and some Republicans to steal the election from Trump…
- Trump new the election was going to be rigged so he put in place a plan called "devolution." This is a military operation to expose the truth about the election, and put in a "continuity of government" plan (run by the military) for when the truth is exposed and the government becomes incapacitated…
- Trump caught them all and has all the information on who stole the election and how they did it (mainly through the Space Force). The reason Trump didn’t expose it right away was for many reasons. Civil war was one of the main one…
- Hillary Clinton is dead. What you’re watching is a clone/body double/actor…
- Joe Biden is dead. What you’re watching is a clone/body double/actor…
- Actor Hillary is going to become president once they kick Biden out…
- Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein served as child traffickers to the world’s elite (these include Obama, Royals, and many of those in Hollywood)…
- The world is not run by our politicians, but by those "behind the curtain" (AKA: the 13 bloodline families)…
- The global financial (fiat) system is being destroyed on purpose through inflation in order to usher us into "The Great Reset" (AKA: a complete central digital economy)…
- Many of those in government (around the world) worship Satan…
- Many of those in government who worship Satan are pedophiles and have sacrificed children…
- The cabal had a "16 year plan" to depopulate at least 80% of the world. Obama was the first 8 years. Hillary was the mop up. They were going to use some of the uranium they sold to Russia, put it in a nuclear bomb, and fire it off the coast of North Korea and blame it on Russia. This would have started a nuclear world war 3...
- 9/11 was an inside job by the CIA…
- John McCain was the head of ISIS…
- John McCain didn't die from cancer. He was put to death for treason/crimes against humanity…
- Michelle Obama is a man…
- Jeffrey Epstein is still alive…
- The elite always had the plan to release the virus and use that to get everyone to take their vaccines…
- The goal of the vaccines/boosters are 1. Make profit for big pharma 2. Make you sick by destroying your immune system so you have to take more drugs from big pharma 3. Inject nano technology to control/track you…
- Many Hollywood celebrities we look up to are part of the satanic cabal. These include Tom Hanks, Ellen, The Rock and more…
- Washington DC is not part of the US. It’s its own sovereign nation with its own laws…
- "City of London" is not part of the UK. It’s its own sovereign nation with its own laws…
- The Vatican is not part of the Italy. It’s its own sovereign nation with its own laws…
- "The United States of America" was a corporation formed to run America like a business superseding the real constitution (see the "Act of 1871"). Recently this was dissolved thanks to Trump and the original constitution has been put back in place...
- The world has been run by a Satanic Cabal for at least 1400 years…
- The mainstream media and all major institutions (health, finance etc) are part of this satanic cable. The top of each corporation was controlled/compromised…
- The satanists stripped some of the most important words from the bible…
- Over hundreds of years they have tortured millions of children in order to harvest adrenochrome. Adrenochrome is an adrenaline type drug the body produces when scared/in a high state of fear. The more you torture, the more potent the drug is…
- The elite have been using our tax money over the last century to build "DUMBS" (Deep Underground Military Bases). This is where they keep/torture a lot of the children. Trump and the US army are destroying (and have destroyed) a lot of these bases. There are thousands of them…
Now for some good news… - What we are watching is the systematic destruction of the satanic cabal…
- A plan has been put in place since the 1960’s to bring them down and it’s all coming to a head over the next couple of years…
- Trump was the face of this movement to expose the deep state/cabal and put certain executive orders in place to destroy them…
- The NSA/Space force have everything on the bad guys…
- John Durham is a big part of this plan to expose their corrupt ways…
- Part of the plan is to let the cabal destroy the economy then transition to a new system that is gold backed (as opposed to a central digital currency)…
- All major currencies will be reevaluated and will be equal to the US dollar…
- We are heading for a "near death civilisation event" to wake people up. Further, we need to let this play out and show people the totalitarian/communist path we were heading down so we never let it happen again…
- Many major countries will go through a reconstitution process. These countries will go back to "common law" (not "maritime law" which we’re on now), which is very similar to US Constitutional Law…
- When we reconstitute there will be no more income tax…
- The army seized 34 quintillion dollars worth of gold from The Vatican…
- The cabal has also been hiding amazing technologies from us. Some include Medbeds (3 types. They will eliminate disease, grow limbs and even make us young again), anti gravity, infinite energy…
- Although everything may feel like it’s heading in the wrong direction at the moment, the future is incredibly bright…
Plus many more.
Crazy, ey?
What’s crazier is that I could easily list off another 100 without much thought.
I haven’t even got to the stuff they do to the children, Aliens, or what’s down in the Arctic.
But that’s for another day in another email.
For now, The Aussie Hermit wants to talk about one more conspiracy theory we Coaches subscribe to that may be most shocking of all. And that is…
We Coaches believe that in order to get clients, we need a "funnel."
Here’s truth:
You don’t need any funnel at all to get clients.
You don’t need a low-ticket book…
You don’t need a webinar…
You don’t need a messenger sequence…
You don’t need a cheap product with up sells and down sells…
You don’t need a 5-day challenge…
You don’t need a Facebook group…
You don’t need any of those things.
Of course, you can have them if you want.
And they can work if you’ve got the time to get all the moving pieces working perfectly together.
But if you’re like The Aussie Hermit, and you just want a simple way to get clients fast, then this is all you really need:
Step 1) Build your list with quality leads, and…
Step 2) Email that list each day with content and an offer to work with you.
And that’s it.
Over the years we’ve come to believe (through guru hype and new tech) that attracting clients requires a complex system.
But those 2 steps are all you need.
Further, I know it can feel weird to let go of this conspiracy theory (especially if you’ve invested hundreds or maybe even thousands of hours trying to make some of these convoluted systems work), but it is possible to have a system that simple.
I’ve done it for years, and so have hundreds of my clients.
With that being said…
Inside my 15 Minute Client, I teach both those steps above in a lot more detail.
From crafting your lead magnet, to launching your list building ad, to emailing your list.
I give you everything you need to see tup a system that has you attracting clients sending one email per day.

Advantages of a bleeding neck prospect
Over the past 2 days The Aussie Hermit has spoken about “market selection.”
And how, if you want to sell high-ticket, this is more important than anything.
Even more important than your offer or what funnel you choose.
And so I thought I’d round out this series with one more email that goes into probably the most critical thing when choosing a market if you want to sell high ticket.
And, it’s actually something Anthony (the subscriber who wrote back in the previous email), brought up in his latest reply back to me.
Just before I get to his comment, some context for those that missed the previous two emails:
We were talking about the market of “dog owners looking to train their dogs.” And how owners of dogs who perform/compete in shows would pay more than just a regular owner who wants to get their puppy trained.
However, as you’ll see, there’s another type of dog owner willing to pay more to get their dog trained than a regular dog owner.
I’ll let Anthony explain:
“Right or even things like DOG aggression where you can also charge top notch because those dogs are on the verge of getting rehome or put down and how much is the relationship with losing their dog worth.. priceless the dogs life is at stake Maybe even more than competing in a dog show!!”
Great observation.
And I don’t doubt this is true…
If you have a dog that’s aggressive toward other dogs or worse - humans - and you love that dog, then you’re going to pay an expert more get help taming that dog (more than you would a regular dog training program).
But why?
What’s the underlying reason that makes this the case?
Well, the first reason is - this is a specific/niche problem.
And with specific problems comes more specialist skills required to solve them.
And with more specialist skills comes higher fees.
But that’s not the #1 most critical thing I’m referring to in this email.
(Although it is still very important)
The #1 most critical thing, and why you’d be paid more to help aggressive dogs, is because this is an urgent problem.
(As Anthony smartly pointed out)
It’s simple…
More urgency = more serious = more pay.
And it’s the same with coaching.
When choosing a high ticket market to go into with your coaching, the #1 most important thing you need to do first is pick a prospect with an urgent problem.
(World famous marketing expert, Perry Marshall, calls it a “bleeding neck problem”)
The reason this is important is because with an urgent problem there’s obviously an inherent urgency in getting it solved.
(Hint: This makes it far easier to get them to click your ads, sign up to your list and book appointments. However, choose a problem that's not urgent and you'll be struggling for any appointments).
Further, if the problem is an urgent one that’s hard to solve (like saving their marriage, getting clients, or stopping their kids failing school etc), then they’re going to pay you quite a bit to solve it quickly.
(Hint: pretty much every problem we coaches solve is a hard one. So you can rest assured, you already have this covered)
Finally, if this is an urgent problem that’s hard to solve plus it’s for a niche market, then you can charge even higher.
(Just like how a specialist doctor charges more than a GP)
If I had to make up some type of “high ticket formula” it would look like this:
Urgent Problem X Hard Problem X Niche Problem = Prospects Willing to Pay You a Lot.
Make sense?
I hope so because it’s critical for market selection…
It’s critical if you want to charge high ticket…
And oh so critical if you want your campaigns to convert.
With that being said…
Picking your “urgent problem” (plus getting clear on your niche) is the first thing we do inside The 15 Minute Client program.
It takes precedent over everything.
Yes, I help you craft your high ticket offer…
Yes, I help you build your list with quality leads using paid ads…
And yes, I show you how to turn that list into high paying clients sending one email per day.
But none of that works unless we get the market right first.
Spend the time getting your market right using The Aussie Hermit’s proven processes, and you’ll see how it finally leads to high-converting marketing campaigns.
